Projects Abroad is one of the sponsors of the new call for an International Court for the Environment.
A campaign is being launched in London at 4 pm on Friday 28th November at a meeting to be held at the British Library. The initiative is being led – and the meeting chaired – by Stephen Hockman QC, former Chairman of the Bar Council. The launch will also be attended by former Projects Abroad law volunteers, Heather Buchanan and Oliver Davidge-Stringer.
Other sponsors include actress Dame Judi Dench and tycoon Sir Richard Branson. UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown has given his support.
